The rooms were newly renovated with astonishing view and clean sheets & towels and necessary amenities and the breakfast was great. Location: the hotel was very close to the major tourist attractions and the Jason Inn, great location, loads of bars and restaurants close, and the history, amazing...

Location is very good and very close to sightseeings. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Clean rooms, good breakfast like 4 stars-hotel.
3Rd floor is noisy due to iron chairs on the roof bar which works till 4 am. Better to choose 2dn floor rooms.

Big hype, little substance
Amidst the zeal of tourists, I found the stay somewhat underwhelming. While the location is appealing, and the breakfast view is fab, the noise from nearby streets disrupted my tranquil expectations. The air conditioning required a call to repair, dampening the overall comfort. Great staff, but not enough to warrant the rave reviews.

The hotel is within 10 minutes of the Plaka area and the pedestrian route to the Acropolis and the new Museum, is at the end of the street. The nearest Metro station is 2 minutes away and the line for the airport 10 minutes. The roof terrace at night and for a good breakfast in the morning gives a 360 degree view of the city. Staff helpful and friendly.

The front desk staff were very helpfull and informative.Top floor/terrace for breakfast was an ideal location for leasurely start of the morning.Great views of Athens and Acropolis. Excellent location for taking a walk up to the wide sellection of restaurants/coffee shops etc. The Metro station Thisi ,3 mins.walk from the hotel, offers excellent connection to Puireaus(Green Line) and to the Airport(Blue line-change at Monastiraki Station).
The bathroom cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The wash basin drain very slow and the waste water emerged at the floor level drain hole which also serves the adjecant shower. As a consequence the feet would get wet as well as the bath mat. The grill on the floor drain was clogged up with filthy deposits of residual water/soap and hair..... The tv set offered only cnn as an English speaking station...SKY Or bbc World were not available. The breakfast tables were cleared at a very slow pace thus causing the guests to either sit in the tables available in the direct sun (which were all set up but empty for that very reason)or sit at the messy table/or wait for the staff to clear up/re set the table. The breakfast food sellection is adequate for one /two mornings....anyone staying longer would have welcomed a bit of a variety and choice of hot/cold fare.

Close & convinient to the city centre & transport. The staff were very helpful in organising our pick up for tours. Beautiful views from the roof top dining room.
Bathroom was very small & the door didn't open all the way as it hit the toilet halfway. We stayed in a triple room, but it was probably only comfortable enough for a double/twin.

The rooftop view was great, but bar & food are limited. We arrived and wanted to go to the roof however it was locked and we had to wait until the bar opened a bit later in the day. WiFi works well. The room was clean, bath adequate. We booked last minute and our room had no view. If I had booked earlier I could have found a better hotel with better breakfast for about the same price.
Rooftop closed during the day.

I ate at a great restaurant for breakfast. Lots of food for breakfast, which was fresh to satisfy everyone. Super location, a synagogue and a theater were minutes away from the hotel.
